SugarCRM comes in five different versions:

SugarCRM Community Edition is a AGPLv3 licensed open source software. Thus it's available for free download and use.
The other versions of SugarCRM share the same (open source) code tree as SugarCRM Community Edition, but they have additional functionality, some regarded as very important for a CRM system (reporting, for instance), so we highly recommend that our customers base their CRM solution on either SugarCRM Professional or Corporate/Enterprise/Ultimate.
